The American Medical Association (AMA) is the largest medical association in the U.S., representing more than 250,000 physicians, residents, and medical students. It publishes the influential Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA), sets ethical guidelines, controls physicians’ continuing medical education, and licenses out a CPT medical billing code system that is used by physicians nationwide. The AMA is regarded as the gold standard of American medical authority — its endorsements heavily influence public policy, insurance coverage, and the clinical decision-making of physicians across the country.
In recent years, the AMA has aggressively escalated its advocacy for ‘gender-affirming care’ for children who experience gender confusion or uncertainty, running far ahead of the scientific evidence and ignoring the absence of rigorous research to support it.
We’ve obtained damning exclusive footage of a private, hour-long meeting between the current President of the American Medical Association, Dr. Bobby Mukkamala, Michigan Republican Representative Brad Paquette, and former guest of the show Dr. Eithan Haim, the Texas Children’s Hospital whistleblower.
This footage is catastrophic for the AMA. It proves beyond any doubt that their support for transgender 'healthcare' is based on fake science, willful blindness, and a total abandonment of evidence-based medicine — all of which are antithetical to the existence of their organization.

Dear President Trump,
We are writing to urge you to take all available steps to end the special, quasi-governmental status of the American Medical Association (AMA).
Recently revealed information about the AMA’s leadership, policies, and approach to influencing the provision of medical care in the United States demonstrates that this once well-respected institution is totally ideologically captured by harmful, unscientific, leftist politics. The AMA’s inability, and in fact zealous unwillingness, to effectively identify and promote treatment in the best interests of patients is deeply disturbing.
As you no doubt know, the AMA has received special privileges from the federal government, including the ability to administer Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) codes and continuing medical education programming, that have enriched it to the tune of hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars. Additionally, federal, state, and local governments have given the AMA enormous influence through the seats on advisory boards and committees entrusted to its members for their supposed expertise. Finally, executive branch leaders and legislators alike have given undue weight to the influence of this group, expecting it to represent the latest in scientific and medical knowledge.
Since the AMA has substituted radical gender ideology and other damaging policy preferences for the duty of care they owe their patients, we respectfully request:
That you direct the Department of Justice and Federal Trade Commission to investigate any deceptive or fraudulent billing practices and false claims related to the so-called gender affirming care they promote and conduct;
That you direct the Department of Health and Human Services to cut ties and eliminate the special and powerful role reserved for the AMA in the implementation of medical treatment and billing code regimes, continuing medical education programming, and the like;
That you direct all government bodies to decouple from the AMA in the constitution of expert, advisory, and policymaking boards and committees; and
That you take all otherwise prudent steps to end the harmful stranglehold these partisan activists have used to force the practice of medicine out of line with the best interests of patients.
Your leadership on a similar effort—to end the biased, damaging, and undeserved influence of the American Bar Association (ABA)—has been a great start on restoring the interests of the American people while ending the reign of corrupt, ideologically captured special interest groups. A similar effort for the AMA is now long overdue.
